Instant Kadhi


Ingredients for the Kadhi:
1 cup dahi
1 ½ cup Water, or as per desired consistency
2 heaped tsps Besan
1/4th tsp Turmeric powder
Red Chilly powder and salt, to taste
Ginger 1 inch piece, peeled and crushed
For the Tempering:
Oil 1 tsp
Hing, Rye, Jeera, Kadipatta leaves and dry Red Chillies
Method:
Mix together all the ingredients for the Kadhi, churn together well and keep aside.
Heat oil, add hing to it.
Add Rye and Jeera and when they pop add the Kadipatta leaves and dry red chilles, stir fry for a minute and temper the kadhi with this. Stir well and place Kadhi on the gas.
Stir continuously on a medium flame till the 1st boil. Switch off gas and garnish with coriander leaves.
Tastes best with plain rice
