Kalakand


Ingredients:
Paneer – ½ kg
Milkmaid – 1 tin
Dairy Whitener – 2 heaped tbsps
Cardamom Powder and finely sliced Pistachios and Almonds for garnishing

Method:
Mash Paneer coarsely. Add the Milkmaid and Dairy Whitener and mix well.
In a thick bottomed pan, cook this mixture on a medium flame. Keep stirring till mixture becomes thick and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Switch off gas. Spread mixture onto a greased plate, even it out and garnish with Cardamom Powder and sliced Dried fruit. Cool and cut into squares.
