Ingredients:
1 Cup Urad Dal
1 Cup Chana Dal
1 Cup Broken Wheat (Dalia)
2-3 Green Chillies, chopped fine
1 Tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
Salt, to taste.
Method:
Wash the dals well
Soak for 4-5 hours
Discard the water the dals were soaked in
Grind to a fine paste, along with the chillies, ginger-garlic paste and salt and water, as required
(The batter needs to be a little thinner than dosa batter, to ensure that the paddu's are cooked through)
Grease each well of your paniyaram pan with 3-4 drops of oil
Drop in a spoonful of batter into each well
Cover and cook on a low flame, till the bottoms start browning
Flip the paddu's and cook on the other side till done
