Makes 10-12 medium sized Barfis
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Wheat Flour
1/2 Cup Jaggery
1/4th Cup Ghee
A greased, with ghee, plate for setting the barfi
Method:
Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan, on a low flame
Add the wheat flour to it and mix well till the flour starts darkening in colour and emits an aroma
Add the jaggery to it and mix together till the jaggery melts
Pour the mix into the greased plate and press down with the back of a spoon
Make indentations according to your desired shape
Allow to cool completely
Store in an airtight container
